In Mayor Harmon’s 7-week training, you’ll receive important practical information to empower an authentic AND effective feminine leadership so you can step forward and stand in your power — in your life, your community, and beyond.
Heidi Harmon – The Heart of Activism
Discover how to step forward and stand in your authentic soul — in your life, your community, and beyond.
Find and activate your “why” — what’s in your heart to do… and why it matters now more than ever.
Build skills to effect real change in the public sector, including by running for office or supporting others to do so.
Let’s be honest: if you’re paying attention to what is happening in the world, you are pained by it… and angered at times.
Yet, you know that trying to fix it with old-school activism can bring more burnout than lasting change.
What’s required now is a new way of engaging our social and political evolution that uplifts you and others and results in real healing and lasting positive change.
It’s about standing up, showing up, and stepping up in an authentic and integrated way. It’s the kind of activism that aligns your heart, your values, and your gifts with positive ACTIONS…
Women are at the forefront of this new activism, creating change in big and small ways…
Ignited by our passion, our ethics, and yes, even our anger, we’re standing up and BEING the change. We’re stepping into more positions of influence and power than ever before — from community action groups to elected office.
Many of us are doing it, but we’re ALL being called to influence our political and social institutions to become more conscious, caring, and whole. There’s never been a more important time.
And yet, answering the call can be a daunting challenge. As a compassionate, deep-feeling person, you may have a tendency to take on the problems of the world in unhealthy ways…
You may also feel stuck or reactive, or doubt your ability to create real change…
So, how can you answer the call of our times? How can you bring your wisdom, your fire, and your heart to the search for solutions — without burning out or becoming overwhelmed?
One inspiring woman who’s leading the way to bold, authentic change is here to show you that the secret to effective action lies in your “WHY”…
Renowned mayor, climate change activist, and mindfulness teacher Heidi Harmon is on fire with her why. One of America’s most progressive leaders, she’s serving her second consecutive term as mayor of San Luis Obispo, which she won by mandate. She’s worked with the citizens of her city to establish the most ambitious carbon neutrality goal in the entire United States…
Because her why is climate change.
— Heidi Harmon
Heidi’s initial run for public office came after being elected a delegate to the Democratic National Convention representing Bernie Sanders.
Heidi is not only wielding power through her feminine leadership and commitment to civic empathy, she’s modeling a new, holistic way of changing our institutions. A yoga teacher in-training and a spiritual seeker, she cultivates truly loving relationships with her constituents.
Heidi will show you that once you know YOUR why and engage in this deeply authentic way, you open to radical clarity about what you’re here to do and how to do it.
Our World Needs You to Step Forward and Embody Your Feminine Leadership
Sometimes it feels like as a species we’ve really done ourselves in — culturally, politicly, ecologically…
Yet, crisis creates OPPORTUNITY — and you now have the opportunity to embrace this crucial moment and discover how to play your highest role in effecting meaningful and lasting change.
Due to our upbringing, education, and professional lives, many of us have been afforded opportunities that place us in a unique position for advocacy and allyship. We can use our platforms to raise awareness for others, for the planet, and for causes in our local communities…
To play our part in righting injustices and bringing an end to the marginalization and oppression “on our watch,” we must join our hearts and minds with others — and lift the voices of those who have yet to be heard.
— Desmond Tutu
And if you’re reading this, you’re already making a difference…
Because you’re passionate about change, you’re part of the huge shift in consciousness that so many of us are making. You likely realize that with every thought, with every action, the choice to create change is YOURS — whether you’re advocating for peaceful solutions to gun violence, or organizing local community groups in support of another issue close to your heart.

Practical Strategies to Evolve Our Democracy
Audio Dialogue With Stephen Dinan and Mark Gerzon
In this exciting dialogue between two spiritually-based political authors, Mark and Stephen explore how to combine the principles of trans partisanship with consciousness work and specific reforms to lead America in the right direction. They talk about the inner shifts required to be a “sacred citizen,” how to constructively bridge partisan divides, and how to apply the principles of “political cross-training” to forge better solutions that integrate the wisdom of left and right. Stephen’s book, Sacred America, Sacred World, has inspired rave reviews from across the political spectrum and charts the path to a lasting evolution of our democracy by focusing on unifying solutions and a higher vision for our country.
Stephen Dinan is the CEO of The Shift Network and a member of the prestigious Transformational Leadership Council and Evolutionary Leaders groups. As the former Director of Membership and Marketing at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, he was the driving force behind the Shift in Action program, which grew to 10,000 paying members. He is also the author of Radical Spirit and Sacred America, Sacred World. Stephen directed and helped create the Esalen Institute’s Center for Theory & Research, a think tank for leading scholars, researchers and teachers to explore human potential frontiers.
Spiritual Evolution & the Political Process
Audio Dialogue With Gregg Braden and Stephen Dinan
Join Stephen Dinan as he interviews Gregg Braden, who’s best known as a scientist and new paradigm leader who also has fascinating insights into American history and the role of the warrior in creating a world at peace. There was a time when we could draw a line between politics and our everyday lives, but no longer. The political process is what creates the social and legal environments that allow us to live the way we choose to live in our hearts. Stephen and Gregg discuss finding sustainable ways to solve the problems that we find on our doorstep today.
Gregg Braden is an American author who wrote about the 2012 phenomenon and became noted for his claim that the magnetic polarity of the earth was about to reverse. Braden argued that the change in the earth’s magnetic field might have effects on human DNA. He’s also argued that human emotions affect DNA and that collective prayer may have healing physical effects. He’s published many books through Hay House publishing. In 2009, his book, Fractal Time, was on the The New York Times bestseller list.
Conscious Politics: Why It’s Critical to Bring the Language & Values of Love & Justice Into Politics
Audio Dialogue With Marianne Williamson
Marianne Williamson has spent the majority of her life immersed in spiritual teachings, and inspiring others with her Course of Miracles program, teaching and talks. Seeing how politicians often fail to ground their work in spiritual teachings and values, Marianne ran for public office in 2014 in an effort to change the nature of political discourse from one simply focusing on economic entitlements and political rights to one steeped in universal spiritual values. We will explore what inspired her to make this shift, why she believes it is so important for other spiritual practitioners to become more politically engaged, what conscious politics can look like, and how to infuse political speech and action with both the words and values of love, generosity, kindness and justice.
Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed lecturer, activist, and author of four #1 New York Times bestselling books. She has been one of America’s most well known public voices for more than three decades and is now a candidate for the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Seven of her 12 published books have been New York Times bestsellers and Marianne has been a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Good Morning America, and Bill Maher. A quote from the mega best seller A Return to Love, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…” is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers.
