You could waste precious time that you may not have, not to mention the waste of money while going in the wrong direction.
John Malanca – The Sacred Plant – How To Make It Work For You Masterclass
Dear Friend,
You want this to be EASY.
You want to be given a pill and make all the pain and discomfort go away.
Medical cannabis CAN be that simple… but not at first.
Do you remember when you first learned how to drive a car?
There was a lot to learn and coordinate, but once you did, it became second nature.
The sacred plant is like that.
It’s simply learning the basics…
3 BIG Core Problems
with Cannabis as medicine
1. You see, this healing plant is complex.
It has over 500 molecules that work with your endocannabinoid system. I’ll talk more about this in a minute.
Because it’s complex, there are many variables to consider.
That’s why there’s NO standard dosage for everyone.
Let me repeat that.
Anyone or any company that offers you a standard dose, run for the hills.
CBD is a great supplement for overall well-being.
But, it’s typically not enough to treat a health condition, ailment, or disease.
2. So, where do you start?
If you check online, you’ll find thousands of blogs, articles, forums, and even ‘experts.’ And if you read and listen to many of them, you’ll find conflicting information and opinions.
So, who do you trust? And what information can you trust?
What happens if you follow the wrong advice?
You could waste precious time that you may not have, not to mention the waste of money while going in the wrong direction.
There’s only one thing worse than going in the wrong direction.
Can you guess what that is?
Going in the wrong direction enthusiastically.
3. You want it now, instantly, yesterday!
We live in a world of convenience where everything is immediate.
You want to talk to someone halfway across the world – just dial your phone and you have an instant connection.
You want to read a new book – just download one to your reader and you’re ready to go in seconds.
You get sick – well, Big Pharma already has a ‘one-size-fits-all-pill’ for you.
Doctors call it ‘a-pill-for-an-ill.’
Unfortunately, those pills can have dangerous and crippling side effects. Side effects that need more pills to deal with.
But these pills don’t cure you.
They just mask the symptoms, which means you’re still sick.
Your body is still suffering the effects of the illness.
And how much are all those pills costing you?
Not just in terms of costing you extra money, but the burden to your body of ongoing illness?
The sacred plant helps support healing.
And this healing plant has been linked in treating over 200 conditions.
Yet, how you treat each of these conditions differ.
And how you treat each person differs.
That means that two people with the same condition usually have two different treatment methods.
With medical cannabis, there’s currently NO standard dosing like there is with Big Pharma.
And that’s a good thing. I’ll explain why in a moment.
Unfortunately, health insurance doesn’t cover cannabis medicine YET (unless you use the synthetic forms which I don’t recommend in most cases).
But, you can save on the total cost of your medicine when you only buy what your body needs.
How do you know what that is?
I’ll show you exactly how you can answer that right here.
How To choose Your Medicine
4 Ways for Best Results
With Medical Cannabis
1. Personalized meds are way better than the ‘one-size-fits-all-pill.’
“Medical cannabis helps my husband, so why doesn’t the same medicine help me?” We often get questions similar to this.
Which brings us back to ‘there’s NO standard dosage.’ So what may work for one person may not be appropriate for another.
With over 500 molecules, there’s a lot of versatility in this healing plant.
That’s why you need to personalize your medicine.
This way, you’ll get the most potent effect and potentially see positive results faster. And you’ll treat the core of your condition while also helping improve other aspects of your health
You’ll also experience overall wellness and well-being.
2. It’s important to START LOW, GO SLOW, and BE CONSISTENT with your sacred plant medicine.
I urge you to remain patient with the process.
Starting with 1 – 2 milligrams, and slowly working up to the optimal dose over 3 – 4 weeks. This allows your body to build a tolerance and avert any possible adverse effects.
Slowly introducing this healing medicine, allows your receptors to stabilize over time, and prevents oversaturation.
Taking the time to get clear and confident about your medicine upfront helps you get the best overall results.
This healing plant is a superfood.
Just as you need to continue to take vitamins to ensure you’re getting ongoing support, you need to be consistent with your medicine.
3. Keeping a journal helps track your progress.
Note how you’re feeling, what you’re experiencing, and the type of relief you’re having.
Check on other areas of your well-being to monitor changes there as well.
Over time, these observations will help you understand how your body responds to your medicine at various stages.
And will help you understand what works best for your situation, especially when you have to make minor adjustments to your medicine and protocol.
4. You must understand the basics of how your medicine works, why it works, and how to use it.
It’s like knowing the basics of driving a car… and knowing how to fill up with gas.
You need to know what to do if something comes up. The more you know about it, the better it’ll serve you.
You may need to make slight adjustments to your protocol because, as you know, things change.
Whether you slightly increase or reduce the strength, increase or reduce the frequency, or modify your formula.
By understanding your medicine, you’ll have the confidence to feel free to do so.
A big bonus is significantly reducing the time involved in waiting for appointments and traveling to specialists. And think of the thousands of dollars you’ll save in specialist’s fees over time.
But, the best bonus is that you’ll be capable of knowing how to make yourself feel better almost immediately.
Without the wait, travel, and extra expense.

3 Tips to Select the Right
Medicine for Your Needs
To help you understand how to select the best option for your specific needs… I share an example of my fictional friend Karen and what she would do for each of the following 3 tips.
Medical cannabis formulations must be for YOU.
Formulations are more than CBD and THC.
Your medicine must help you and your specific needs.
1. What is the aim of your treatment?
Such as, from what conditions, symptoms, side effects, and more, are you seeking relief?
Once you’ve established those, you can connect-the-dots to see which cannabinoid and terpene benefits would best suit your needs.
Though this process can seem daunting, when you break it down into its simplest terms – it’s like playing a straightforward ‘matching game.’
And can be as Easy as 1–2–3!
Let’s take a look at an example.
Karen loves working in her garden. But her Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) has been giving her pain and preventing her from her favorite pastime.
Karen aims to relieve her inflammation and pain, but also to have the energy to tackle her everyday tasks.
So, Karen needs cannabinoids and terpenes that specifically target inflammation, pain, and boosts energy.
Therefore, a likely formulation for Karen would include:
Inflammation: CBD, CBDa, THCa, Caryophyllene, Myrcene
Pain relief: THC, CBN, CBD, Linalool, Pinene
Energy-boosting/uplifting: CBD, Limonene
The delivery method should cater to your needs.
So before you make any decisions, you should answer the following questions:
2a. How long do you need your medicine to last?
2b. How fast do you need it to “kick-in?”
2c. Are there any setbacks that may hinder one application over another?
This step helps home-in on the best method for you.
Perhaps you need help with occasional severe pain that comes on abruptly but doesn’t last long. Such as, the shooting pain of an old knee injury flaring up after taking too many stairs.
For this, you may need a little relief until your body can recharge. An option that’s fast-acting and short term may be useful.
Or, if you need ongoing relief for a chronic issue, you’ll want the longest-lasting option possible.
Where chronic issues apply, the onset is not as important as long as you maintain continuous relief.
Setbacks could include problems like being able to hold your medicine under your tongue for long enough.
Or you may be sensitive to smells or tastes.
Perhaps you have a digestive condition that prevents the medicine from absorbing in your gut, so swallowing it isn’t your best option.
Understanding which obstacles you face can help you steer toward something that works for you.
Let’s revisit Karen’s example.
As you recall, Karen loves working in her garden. There are days where she experiences more pain and discomfort than others.
But, RA is a chronic condition.
Karen wants ongoing help to prevent flare-ups of excessive inflammation and pain. So, she needs to look for long-lasting relief that would last all day.
She’d also like to have an option for additional pain relief for those occasions of spiking flare-ups.
An application for Karen might include:
Systemic treatment such as capsule or tincture that enters the bloodstream and can last up to 6 hours or more
For extra relief from flare-ups, Karen can add a topical option to apply directly to her affected hands and joints
Knowing whether your medicine needs to enter your bloodstream to fight off a disease or condition and prevent the onset of issues helps narrow your options for the best choice.
You’ve reached the last step to map out the best dose and frequency for your needs.
At this point, you’ve completed steps 1 and 2.
You’ve pinpointed your aims and chosen the matching cannabinoids and terpenes.
And you’ve chosen a method of delivery.
One more step to go.
3. MATCH the recommended dose for your condition. (You’ll find these in our materials.)
Remember, more is NOT always better.
That’s why we always recommend starting LOW and going SLOW.
Once you’ve matched your recommended dose, start low and slowly increase in regular increments as necessary.
This method enables you to find the optimal level for best relief results without unwanted side effects.
Remember, each person has a unique formula that’s best for them.
We’re going to continue with Karen’s example.
But first, I’d like to clarify that this is just an example of how someone may derive the best dose, and is not a recommendation for anyone dealing with RA.
As we previously mentioned, Karen needs continuous relief.
By starting only at night, it allows her body to get accustomed to her new medicine in comfort.
Then gradually, adding morning and mid-day doses to ensure relief throughout the day.

Karen’s dosing plan could look something like this:
10 – 15 mg of whole plant medicine 3 times a day.
This also includes the cannabinoids and terpenes mentioned above which are: THCa, Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Pinene.
Night Time: Once again, includes CBD and THC as well as THCa, CBN, Linalool, and Myrcene. These can have a mild relaxing effect to help calm her joints and help reverse the day medicine’s energizing effects with relaxing ones.
Topical application to use as needed. This would include THCa and THC that help with joint pain flare-ups.
This helps prevent Karen’s excess inflammation, pain, and help improve her overall energy.
And you’re done!
You see, it CAN be as Easy as 1–2–3!!
Here’s Your 1-2-3 Plan
Why is Cannabis Complicated
Yet, So Effective?
What is the ECS?
In the early 1990s, a scientist discovered the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).
The ECS is a biological system like your respiratory, cardiovascular, and lymphatic systems. And it’s responsible for maintaining homeostasis. Homeostasis is the balance of all your systems.
The ECS monitors all the systems to make sure they’re working in harmony. If one system falls out of line, the ECS helps regulate that system back into the zone of harmony.
Let me explain how.
Throughout your life, you’ll encounter certain triggers.
Triggers from the environment, poor eating habits, daily stressors, and a host of others that can cause deficiencies in the ECS.
These deficiencies can take a toll and lead to chronic conditions and disease.
The ECS is composed of neurotransmitters and receptors. These neurotransmitters are like carrier pigeons with messages. And th receptors are the pigeons’ cubby destination.
And the message is usually to turn something ON or OFF.
For example, if you cut your finger, the ECS sends a message to turn ON your immune system and address the injury through inflammation.
But your immune system will continue to stay turned ON until it gets the message to turn OFF.
The ECS is the switch-master.
It helps regulate the proper amount of inflammation response is met. Remember, too much inflammation can lead to disease.
And too little is insufficient to deal with healing the cut and preventing infection.
So if the ECS is working with deficiencies, then the inflammation regulation is compromised, and disease follows.
That’s where cannabis’s role comes to the rescue.
There is evidence that the sacred plant was already revered 10,000 years ago in ancient Japan. We’ve evolved together with this plant for much longer.
For thousands of years, this healing plant was cherished and carried by migrants around the world.
Today, we better understand why.
Scientists have found that the cannabis molecules ‘fit-like-a-glove’ into the ECS receptors.
They’ve also discovered that CBD and THC molecules match up almost identically with the naturally occurring neurotransmitters within our ECS, known as 2AG and Anandamide.
Why is this a big deal?
Because this means that cannabis can help plug the deficiencies of your ECS.
Like a perfect patch for a hole, it shores up the deficiency and helps boost the ECS back to full power.
This boost helps ensure the ECS can efficiently maintain harmony in ALL your body’s systems again.
This also means that by helping your body get back to normal, it also improves your body’s ability to heal itself.
Therefore, allowing your healed body to resolve your initial problem. And as your body heals, it’ll need less cannabis medicine.
This is the astonishing benefit of the sacred plant.
It helps you heal.
How to Make Cannabis Work For You
And cannabis has over 500 molecules that can help you heal!
There are 113+ cannabinoids, 200+ terpenes, a variety of flavonoids, and more.
Each engages in the body in a unique way, and each plays a different role.
When many of these constituents work in concert through the entourage effect, they become even more effective.
Each constituent helps support the other like a teamwork effort.
The sheer number and variety of molecules make cannabis remarkably versatile.
Research shows that cannabis can help treat and beat over 200 health conditions and diseases. And science is finding more every day.
Research has also proven that cannabis is safe, with no harsh side effects.
Therefore, unlike some conventional treatments, with cannabis, it’s a win-win!
And because of all the different molecules and their individual effects, you must personalize the right protocol to target your specific needs.
Cannabis is a different kind of medicine.
In the same light of why cannabis is so effective, it also explains why it’s so complicated.
We’re each unique. Think of you and your family.
You all have similar genes, yet you’re all different. You look different, even just slightly, or maybe completely.
And you all eat differently, walk differently, react to medicine differently, and thousands of other differences.
That means what’s right and good for one person may not necessarily be right for another. Take something as simple as eating a pineapple.
Some people are allergic, some don’t like the taste, some are sensitive to the acid, and some could eat it morning, noon, and night.
Everyone is unique. Everyone has their own unique needs, wants, and reactions.
The same could be said about your cannabis medicine.
How to Create Your Own Protocol
Growing up, we were taught if you’re sick, you get a pill.
It’s the same pill that thousands of people with similar symptoms received.
But there’s a big problem with the ‘one-size-fits-all’ principle. All these people are different, and they’ll each have their own reaction to the same pill.
Why is this?
Because every person has a distinct makeup that includes hormone levels, metabolic rate, allergies, medical history, medications, and a host of other aspects.
What works for you is unlikely to work the same for someone else.
And those pills mask the symptoms instead of treating the core problem.
Personalized medicine is about treating the whole individual. Healing the whole individual approach helps the body deal with the core issue naturally.
And to help heal the whole individual, you need to know which cannabis molecules would work best for this situation.
Because, each of the hundreds of molecules performs a different role in the ECS.
And that’s why cannabis medicine is so complicated. That’s also why it’s not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, which is a very good thing.
Because personalized medicine means this healing plant is customized to fix your health problem.
Personalized cannabis medicine is galactically superior to the band-aid ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach because it fixes the root cause of your problem.
The easy way to get your medicine personalized.
Think of the cannabis plant as 500 people in a room.
Would you ask each of those 500 people if they could help fix your car?
Unlikely, because that would be a waste of your precious time and energy. Most likely, you’d specifically seek out mechanics.
Now that you have a handful of mechanics, you need to zoom in on those who work on your car type.
Suddenly you realize that out of 500 people, you’ve got only 3 mechanics that fit the bill. This is how you can view cannabis as a medicine.
It’s important first and foremost to know what each component is capable of doing. Then match it up to your specific needs.
Then the hardest part of personalizing your medicine is over!
Now it’s time for you to begin healing.
And to help ensure you attain the best results possible, as comfortably as possible…
The 1–2–3 Basics
