Keysi Fighting Method (KFM)
The Keysi Fighting Method is a self-defense system “created to act and react while defending yourself”. This martial arts system has been featured in movies such as the Batman series (with Christian Bale) and Jack Reacher (with Tom Cruise).
According to the Keysi Instructor World Map, this system has a number of instructors in Europe. However, there are relatively few instructors in other geographical locations.
History of Keysi Fighting Method (KFM)
According to Keysi World, Keysi “originated in Spain during 1980 and was born from the life experience, study, and investigation of it’s creator and founder Justo Dieguez. With purely Spanish roots; consisting of the Flamenco and the bull, KEYSI, which is also known to be the creator’s / founder’s, Justo Dieguez’s, nickname, is a method of personal defense based on one’s instinct and personal growth. It was created through life experience’s encountered within the streets, influenced through year’s of studies and research in other martial arts.”
The co-founder of Keysi Fighting Method, Andy Norman, left in 2012 in order to start another martial arts organization called Defence Lab. The Keysi Fighting Method is now called “Keysi by Justo Dieguez”.
