Although you can watch these classes live, it is not necessary to do so. All sessions are recorded and made available, together with their accompanying slides, on our password-protected website.
As an enrolled student, will I have opportunities to ask questions?
Yes, we want you to understand the materials, so we provide many opportunities to ask questions. If you have a question about homework assignments, we generally review the material and homework in the following class. If the question is about methodology, we approach all such topics in depth during the classes. These kinds of questions may also be asked during the last Q & A session of each course. We usually address questions about the current market or “last-bar” analysis of charts during the Wyckoff Market Discussion on Wednesdays.
In general, how long does it take to master the material?
Our students often report a major improvement in their Price Structure and Volume Analysis after the first 2-3 months of study. It takes time and deliberate practice to incorporate the knowledge and to develop visual pattern recognition capabilities. Usually, graduates of the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 enroll in the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2 to sharpen their execution and visual skills. Many students have reported that it has taken them about 1-1.5 years to feel competent with Wyckoff Analysis.
I am newcomer to trading and technical analysis. Is the Wyckoff Trading Course a good place for me to start my trading education?
We describe the Wyckoff Trading Course as a “foundational” course in technical analysis and the Wyckoff Trading Method, which means that we are laying the groundwork for your eventual thorough understanding of these disciplines. Early on you will learn about essential concepts of (1) Price Structural Analysis, (2) Volume and Price Analysis, (3) Relative and Comparative Strength Analysis, and (4) Trade Management. We advise beginners to obtain some background knowledge in technical analysis and the markets by reading our FREE resources and watching our FREE videos. For novices whose knowledge of technical analysis is very limited, we suggest reading one or more excellent introductory texts, such as Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets, by John Murphy or Technical Analysis: The Complete Resource for Financial Market Technicians, Charles Kirkpatrick.
I trade Forex, futures, and cryptocurrencies. Would the Wyckoff Trading Course help me to trade these markets successfully?
The Wyckoff Method works in any freely traded market, including stocks, Forex, futures, cryptocurrencies and others. For instance, Wyckoff Trading Course graduates who trade Forex have reported great improvement in their ability to analyze and trade currency pairs. Price Structural Analysis, Volume and Price interpretation, Comparative Strength analysis and Trade Management apply to all tradeable financial instruments.
Should I prepare for my Wyckoff Trading Course?
You will get more out of the course if you prepare beforehand. We highly recommend that you read: (1) Jim Forte’s “Anatomy of a Trading Range,” (2) Hank Pruden’s “The Three Skills of Top Trading,” ch. 3-7, and (3) some of Bruce Fraser’s “Wyckoff Power Charting” blogs. You will also benefit from watching our YouTube videos on The Wyckoff Trading Method channel.
I’m pretty familiar with the Wyckoff Trading Method and technical analysis in general. Can I skip the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 and take the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2 right away?
This is not advisable and is no longer an option. The course curriculum has been refined over many cycles; the materials are presented in a logical, cumulative sequence; early concepts and terminology serve as building blocks for later lessons. Moreover, we use some terms and definitions in ways that may differ from other Wyckoff courses and books. Therefore, the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 is a prerequisite for the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2.
I do intraday and swing trading. Can the Wyckoff Method be applied to my trading time frames?
Absolutely! The Wyckoff Trading Method works in any time frame, and with any liquid financial instrument that have price, volume, and time signatures.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to enroll in the Wyckoff Trading Course or other Wyckoff Analytics courses?
We use Paypal to process payments; you may register for courses using your PayPal account or your credit/debit card.
I’d like to be a student in the Wyckoff Trading Course, and I’d like to receive all of the materials at once. Is this possible?
Yes. All registered students have the option of accessing all course materials at once using our on-demand instant access system. Simply select the on-demand version of the Wyckoff Trading Course in the drop-down payment menu.
How do I know that the Wyckoff Trading Course is for me and that I will be able to extract the expected value from it?
The first session of each Wyckoff Trading Course is free to all attendees. You can also check out a number of past courses on YouTube.
