Ms. Roosevelt, herself an outstanding day trader, has professionally educated traders around the world in the psychological perfection of trading for over a decade. Ms. Roosevelt has been successfully trading her own money in stocks and futures since 1979. She is a former vice president of Prudential Securities and Thomson McKinnon. From 1981 to 1986, she headed the Moneyline International Trade Department at Rudolf Wolf, New York. Prior to that, she was a Stock and Futures Broker at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Ms. Roosevelt has written five books on the psychology of successful trading: Exceptional Trading: A Play of the Mind (Traders Press, 1999), The 12 Habits of Very Successful Traders (Traders Press, 2001), Overcoming the Seven Deadly Sins of Trading (Traders Press , 2003), “Keeping a Cold Head in a Hot Market” (Traders Press, 2005) and “Mind Power: Thinking Techniques for Powerful Trading” (Traders Press, 2011). Dozens of her articles have been published in numerous trade journals. She is often involved in technical analysis of stocks and commodities.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, she is a member of the New York and California Bar Associations. In 1992, she founded the Wall Street Hypnosis Center. Ms. Roosevelt’s psychological methods have been instrumental in bringing the power of the unconscious to Wall Street professionals as well as the broader global trading community. The center has helped thousands of people overcome unwanted habits, establish models of success and achieve their optimal effectiveness. Ms. Roosevelt and the Wall Street Hypnosis Center have featured in Business Week, Barron’s, Glamor, New York, The Independent (London), The Toronto Star, The New York Times and many others. Art Collins described it in his book When Super Traders Meet Kryptonite (Traders Press, 2001)
